Dr. Roger Tsien, University California, San Diego, researcher and 2008 Nobel Prize Winner for Chemistry received the award for his development of the green fluorescent protein, which serves as a fluorescent tag that can track movement through cells. Dr. Tsien will talk about his work which is funded by the Army’s Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs.
