The Proving Grounds

Talisha -aka- MisUnderstood is from Bremen, Georgia just 50 miles west of Atlanta. Her entire life has been surrounded by musical inspirations. From singing in choruses in school to performing in marching bands and state choral ensembles,signing is her birth right since grade school. She has been a member of the Metropolitan Atlanta Acapella Mass Chorus. Additionally, she was a lead singer of a local band called “Reality” where she performed at local Juneteenth festivals and interstate events such as the Alabama Funkfest and many local bars as a cover band.  

Currently as a solo artist, Misunderstood has graced her local city and state with her neo-soul (and just a little bit of country flavor) sounds at events such as the Trail blazers festival in west Georgia all the way to places in Atlanta such as the Paradise lounger where she was invited to be a part in their showcase for upcoming R&B artists. She has had guest appearances on local, state, and international radios shows debuting some of her most popular tracks such as “Faded,” “NRG,” and “Bombarded.” She continues to perform locally, throughout Atlanta and has received continued request to be an opening act as she moves her way to the top with her original and unique soulful sounds.
