The Struggle is REAL: Understanding the Plight of Humanity

Hey there Tea Sippers!!  Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU for your love and support!!  We are entering into our 7th Year on the air and the ride has been oh so sweet!!  Today, I've decided to ask someone I look to for guidance, direction, comfort, confidance, and spiritual enlightenment to join me today as we tackle a couple of issues that are plaguing not only the LGBT community, but humanity as a whole.

He was the very first guest on "Dishing Tea with Big Meach" and to kick off our 7th year, Elder Claude Bowen has returned to provide us with some insight into a couple of issues that are of great concern to our community:

• Identifying and Internalizing the struggle vs the sensationalized struggle within the LGBT Culture:  We have been completely bombarded with attack ads against us and yet we still have to deal with the everyday struggles of survival as LGBT people and it seems like it is worse with LGBT people of color.  What is "the struggle"? What is the difference between  THE struggle and what mainstream THINKS is the struggle?
• Where do we go from Here?:  How does the OLDER, SINGLE, LGBT person move on and grow if they don't know HOW to function or WHAT to do?
