When you talk about Chicago Rockers in the business of promoting local music, there are only a couple of iconic names that arise. The name Tony "Shark" LaBarbera is among the top of that list.
Since 1976 Tony has been promoting concerts, booking clubs, producing albums, publishing magazines, being an on air radio personality, producing seminars, and yes even performing. A constant on the local music scene for the better part of 4 decades his name and Shark logo have been synonymous with rock n roll in Chicago .
Tony Shark will be joining Mongo and Dirty Dan in a discussion about his upcoming THIRSTY WHALE REUNION 2K10, his newest band creation COUGAR, and his bands that he manages, promotes or gives direction to like 7th heaven, VEILSIDE, and others. They will also touch on the state of the Chicago music scene, and the focus and purpose of THE CHICAGO ROCKER NEWSLETTER.
