Bob Hartwell has been performing as a singer and guitarist in the Chicago area and the Midwest since the early 1990’s with various bands including Neon Mona, Dying On The Vine, and most recently, The Bob Hartwell Band w/ Brett Hartwell on drums, and Chuck Butts on bass guitar.
Bob can also be found performing at more intimate venues with The Blood Lounge Duo and his solo acoustic act. When Bob's not performing he can be found in his studio writing and recording, as well as producing tracks for other local artists. Bob has an eclectic writing style. His music ranges from beautifully melodic ballads, to aggressive alternative/hard rock, portraying his own unmistakable style. Bob Hartwell’sfirst solo album is planned for release in late August, early September, featuring tunes that are sure to make you sing along, crank your stereo, and break some traffic laws.
