Denise, aka Mom of Bean, and Ubergeek, entered the world of type 1 diabetes when their daughter, Bean, was diagnosed in June of 2010. It's been a whirlwind adventure full of ups and downs, successes and not-so-successes, and the chance to meet amazing people, both through the DOC and locally.
