Tia Dowling-Ketant.  Tia is a DONA International and Carriage House Birth certified birth doula, Postpartum doula, and certified lactation counselor. Her passion to see pregnant persons through pre conception, pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period is unwavering.  Inclusive of her desire to support women during birth, she is excited to work with moms during the postpartum period helping create a strong bond between themselves and baby.  Tia joined the By My Side team in 2017.  She is the proud mom of a 3 year-old son who was a miracle after 7 years of struggling with infertility. Tia also does community based doula work through Healthy Women Healthy Future a Community doula Program funded by NYC City Counsel.
