Stewardship is Bible jargon for management.  By using this word in the title, I am almost certain that most of the people tuning in will be Christian- and that is just fine, because the concepts shared here will be counter to the the world's view of ownership.

The Christian knows (although sometimes forgets) that God owns everything and we get to have control, or dominion over some things.  Just as Adam had dominion over the Garden of Eden and all that was in it - we have dominion of everything God puts under our control; time, resources, people, money, and more.

Psalm 24:1 "The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him."

Let's get back to the basics and review Stewardship.  If we can get this settled in our hearts and minds, we are more likely to be better Stewards and bring profitability and success to our house.  None of us should want to hear "wicked, lazy servant"!  Instead, we should strive to be like the manager in Matthew 25:20 "The one who had received five talents came forward bringing the other five and said, ‘Sir, you gave me five talents; here, I have made five more."
