Welcome back to our re-boot of the DeAnna On Design podcast!!

Today's topic will feature guest award winning designer, Eleanor Olsen AKBD.  We will discuss how the pandemic has affected the availability of labor for design projects big & small, supply chain disruptions on getting materials, furniture & fixtures & why it's important to start the planning/scheduling of your project now to get you/project in the mix to ensure a timely finish date.

Guest Eleanor Olsen, AKBD is the principal of Total Spaces Design in Seattle WA.  Specializing in Residential and Light Commercial Remodeling. We can help with your project from design concept through building and furnishings and all aspects in between right down to the accessories and window treatments.  Eleanor, certified Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer (AKBD) through the NKBA , studied at Parsons School of Design in New York and Paris. Partner, R Bruce Olsen, Certified Graduate Remodelor (CGR) studied at the UW and Parsons in Paris.

As we are 'sheltering in place' and/or working from home, our home environment has become even more important in terms of our health-mental & physical-and a place where we work, educate & entertain ourselves on a 24/7 basis.  Creating and designing an environment that supports us through these unprecedented & challenging times, while still maintaining a sense of normalcy is key to getting through the next month(s).  Our re-boot will offer tips, projects & reviews of ideas you can easily implement into your home to make this time a bit easier.
