Learning Straight From The Horses Mouth - Ann Alden

This week it is a great honour to welcome Ann Alden. Ann Alden, MA, CEFIP-ED is Past President of EFMHA (Equine Facilitated Mental Health Association, a section of NARHA) and a NARHA Registered Instructor. She has 22 years of experience providing equine assisted activities and therapy. She began volunteering at Therapeutic Riding of Tucson in 1986 and went through their instructor training program. In 1992 she founded The Riding and Rehabilitation Center, a NARHA Accredited Center in Tucson. She currently is a faculty member for the EFMHA Equine Specialist workshop, teaches equine facilitated learning (EFL) and Horse Skills workshops, and hosts Adventures in Awareness workshops at her new facility in Sonoita, AZ where she plans to start a new NARHA Center later this year.
