Another year older! I am here to talk about turning 36! I just had a birthday! Let me talk to you about celebrating a year older with chronic pain! This was the original subject for today, but I lost my long-time fur kid, 13 y/o Max, last night. He was diagnosed with brain cancer just the day before. I couldn't see him suffer, so we put him to sleep peacefully last night. I think it would be nice to talk today about chronic illness and pets as well as pets with chronic illness. My fur kids have been a wonderful support for me through my illnesses, but Max also had his fair share of chronic illnesses as well. I learned a lot from him. He taught me to be strong and to be able to face each day with a love for life that is rarely seen in people because dogs live for each day rather than dwelling on the past or wondering about the future! I love you, Max! I will miss you so much, and I will always carry you in my heart! Always and forever, your mommy, Dana!
