As a defense attorney he is running into problems with clients who are stopped for one thing and then turn their cell phones over to the police. Sure enough, sexually explicit pictures changed hands, and my client is holding the hot potato.  The law is trying to catch up with sexting and in some cases people are finding themselves being sent what constitutes child por.nog.raphy. As this is primarily a teenager/young adult problem police departments are running into a unique problem with their recruits. Recruits are having problems with the lie detector tests and background investigations, as both males and females recruits are confronted with the fact that their youthful fun time with cell phones may be a violation of law.
