Catherine Teitelbaum from Yahoo is joining Dave and Bill on Wednesday morning to talk about all that is Yahoo on the web right now :) when it comes to CyberSecurity!

 

Catherine Teitelbaum is the Director of Child Safety and Product Policy for Yahoo! Inc, the world's largest global online network of integrated services with more than 600 million users worldwide. During her decade long career at Yahoo! Catherine has been responsible for wide array of children’s, education and safety products as well as leading community and content standard development and enforcement for all of Yahoo!’s broad network of products.

 

 

Catherine was responsible for the rapid growth and development of Yahooligans!, Yahoo!’s award winning site for kids, and the launch of Yahoo! Education and Yahoo! Safely. In her role as Policy Director, Catherine has managed a wide array of policy issues related to child safety, education, community development and standards, safe search, and advertising standards. She also serves as editor-in-chief of Yahoo! Safely. Prior to joining Yahoo! Catherine worked for a decade as an elementary and middle school teacher and K-8 Technology Coordinator in Northern California.
