Protecting Our Teens from the Law & from Abusers of the Law) with Martin E. Kohler, Criminal Defense Attorney from Marty Kohler, Kohler & Hart Law Firm...

Join the CHW Partners Dave and Bill for an hour with our guest discussing today's laws and issues facing our teens in this new digital age!

Although he is competitive by nature, veteran criminal defense attorney Martin Kohler never celebrates a win in the courtroom. “Whenever I try a case,” says Kohler, “I simply need to do my best, to give it everything I have. I never celebrate a win because it’s my job to do my best and winning a case is not like playing a sport; it’s about human lives and very real consequences.”

Marty Kohler is a nationally recognized criminal defense attorney with considerable expertise. For more than 30 years, he has defended thousands of people involved in complex legal cases such as homicides and white-collar crimes including one of the biggest embezzlement cases in 2009.

As a child, Kohler’s first inkling of his future career came from watching a movie on the silver screen. “I remember being a kid and watching the film Anatomy of a Murder with Jimmy Stewart. I figured if I wanted to be a lawyer, I’d be like him,” says Kohler.

Like Stewart’s character in the movie, Kohler, whose friends call him Marty, is soft spoken and appears laid back. But make no mistake, he is a tenacious litigator in the courtroom.

He has built up a significant record of acquittals and reduced sentences in high profile cases involving teachers, medical professionals, businessmen and women, elected officials and others who have been accused of fraud, embezzlement, sexual harassment and assault, drug trafficking, and everything in between.

“In my practice, I’ve come across so many good people that have been in trouble... listen in to hear the rest :)
