Please understand that what I am about to tell you involves some anonymity. My first name is correct but to protect other people's lives I cannot give my last name. I hope you will understand and perhaps you know too, the seriousness of the hour and the times we are in. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." ...One of my children had a UFO experience. That child "alienated" me, left their spouse and moved to New Mexico. I cannot say if this was the reason that child rejected me. There were many causes I believe going back to the messy divorce as well as some of my own behavior following that divorce. Whatever the reason, I struggled for almost two years with suicidal depression before taking my thoughts captive: "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalt itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ" 2 Corinthians 10:5. My life once again became manageable and I began to really trust God again for the first time in years. About half a year later my darling husband died.
...I went into a very deep time of hopelessness and despair but I kept using that scripture and daily fighting the enemy who's warfare is in the mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
