Brittney Massey: Mrs. Kentucky Cosmos

Hello, My name is Brittney Taylor Massey.
I have been Married for 2 years. Along with that I have a handsome one year old little boy. As a child I was raised in church, every Sunday and Wednesday I was there when the doors opened. I begin to work in the children’s ministry and that’s where it all begin my love for children. 

I graduated from Harlan County High School, Throughout my High School years I was always involved in different pageants. I loved doing them as my hobby. I begin to take a break from pageants once college begin. I started Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College to get my associates in science. 
 

Meanwhile, my husband and I decided to move to Louisville, Ky 3 years ago for his job. Iwent to ATA college of Louisville for phlebotomy. Once my son came along I had the urge to start pageants back. In February I competed in Miss Kentucky United States. A week later I was invited to compete in Miss KY/TN Cosmos in March, that’s when I was honored to take home the KY title. Just a little about my Platform, “Caring for Kids” all started when I was at a younger age. I now want to be that positive guidance/ leader for those children that are going through a mental/physical abusive home life. With that being said I can’t wait to share more of my platform during my reign as I head to nationals in Orlando Florida!!
