Elayna Hasty-Miss Northeast Outstanding Teen

Elayna Hasty is very busy in the pageant world and volunteering, but also has other hobbies and interests. She enjoys Cross Country, being a part of her school’s Vocal Infinity group, Turning Pointe Dance Academy Show Choir, being involved with her youth group at her church, and eating sushi. Elayna states that the Miss Indiana’s Outstanding Teen and the Miss America Organization has bettered her life in more ways than she could possibly count. “For the past 4 years, the Miss Indiana pageant has been my favorite pastime, and has enriched my life with the most precious memories, opportunities, and relationships. Upon winning my first local title, I recognized that I was no longer just volunteering as Elayna but I had eyes follow me whenever I put the sparkly crown on my head. I realized that I had been elevated to the status of being a heightened version of myself - a role model to others.” One of her favorite quotes is, “Later in life you realize that you have two hands; one hand for helping yourself and the other for helping others.” - Audrey Hepburn
