Understanding the Reverential fear of God verses the Carnal fear of Man.

2 TIM 1:7 For God has not given us a Spirit of fear; but of power, and of love and of a sound mind. Without the Help of the Holy Spirit we become perplexed by our own emotions. Fear is one emotion we deal with and can recognized on several levels. We must be capable of differentiating our fears and not allow them to paralyze our thinking. The reverential fear of God is not this type of fear, yet it is understood by many to be this way. Let’s look at the word of God and learn how we can separate our emotions from our obedience to God.
