Just and Unjust Alike

Wednesday evening into Thursday morning, killer storms decimated the South.  Over 200 people are reported dead with the death toll expected to rise.  In Georgia, at least 13 have been confirmed so far.  Two adults were killed by a tornado just outside of Barnesville about 5 miles from Covenant Commission.  Several families among our Reformed brethren were also hit hard by this storm.  We know of one family who has lost everything and another family who lost their father/husband.  The power of God was on display, not only in the might of the storms but also in the works of His people.  We call upon our brothers and sisters to join with us in prayer and fasting, asking God to forgive us of our transgressions and have mercy upon us.  America is under the complete control of the wicked this should remind us of God's judgment and our need for Him.  However, we must remember that the blessings and cursings of God upon a land fall upon the just and unjust alike.  We will discuss the importance of this topic in hopes of American Christians understanding that this land is our responsibility.  Abdication of our responsibilities will only bring God's judgment upon the just and unjust alike.  We will discuss how Christians must respond to crisis.
