Do you believe in Guardian Angels? If you have read the Urantia Book, you probably do. Urantia Paper 113 is the definitive resource on these marvelous spirit guides and helpers. The book tells us who they are and how they function in their work.

In the last two episodes we learned that guardian angels (seraphim) serve mortals who strive for spiritual advancement. Only the most experienced angels volunteer and are assigned to be Seraphic Guardians of Destiny. Seraphim only occasionally work singly but usually work in pairs. We learned about their profound affection for human beings and that they share most of our human emotions as well as some additional ones. However, the emotions that they find hardest to understand are fear, dread, and anxiety.

In our study this week, we will learn that one of the most important things angelic guardians do for us is coordinate the spirit influences, which indwell and surround us. Being directly from the Creative Spirit, they are uniquely able to correlate other spirit influences, like the Infinite Spirit, the Indwelling Spirit, and the Spirit of Truth. They interpret spirit reality to the human mind and manipulate the physical environment through liaison with their spiritual counterparts.

We will also cover Section 4. Seraphic Domains of Action to learn that seraphim work through our social, ethical, and moral environments and they labor independently of human appeals; they perform their tasks as they are directed by their superiors, regardless of the changing whims of their mortal charges. The seraphic mission is to guard rather than to influence. Human beings chart their own courses, and the seraphim act to make the best possible use of the chosen course. The urge to pray is often the result of seraphic influence.

This is another great study on Angels. We hope you will listen in!
