In 2008, "The Standard" SET a standard for fans of Take 6 and those who became new ones. This was an adventure in Jazz that was hailed as a different kind of success. The departure from the norm featured such luminaries in the Jazz world as George Benson, Al Jarreau and Roy Hargrove. Claude's brother, Brian McKnight, and Aaron Neville contributed to the thrice-nominated CD. Which put Take 6 into another playing field - the most Grammy-nominated vocal group in history.
All told, there have been 15 albums recorded by Take 6, including three Christmas compilations. Ten Grammy Awards. 10 Dove Awards. Soul Train and NAACP Image Award nods.

Claude McKnight - on "Cool Jazz Conversations" this Monday, the 9th of May. 7 p.m. Eastern U.S. time.
