Jaared was nominated the Best New Artist of the Year for 2002 by The National Smooth Jazz Association. His playing is epitomized by a "from the Heart" style- he puts all of his feeling into his playing, and it shows. He has played with Peter White, Maysa, Rick Braun, Kim Waters, Jonathan Butler, and Richard Elliot. He also played on the Grammy-nominated "Maximum Grooves, Coast to Caost" CD, produced by Jason Miles. Jaared travels all over the world, most recently to Capetown and London. [6]His playing has brought him fans from Wales to South Africa.
