The first rule of Improv.....Say YES, and...

As I sat through my son's improv classes over the past few months, I soon realized how instrumental Improv can be in working with those with dementia, dealing with chronic conditions and finding joy in caregiving.  This was a huge Ah Ha moment for me.  Finding joy for patients, caregivers and the entire health care team is essential.  

I am excited and honored to be able to sit down in conversation with Antoine McKay.

Enter Stage Left.....  Second City Alum and Star on Empire, Antoine McKay

Founder and Instructor Antoine McKay has been acting and directing for over 20 years. He studied theatre at Eastern Michigan University and studied under world famous acting coach, Uta Hagen. Mr. McKay has also been blessed to work on the Second City Main Stage in Detroit and Chicago, where he wrote and performed in over 20 shows. He has also starred in numerous commercials and T.V. shows including; Detroit 187 (ABC), ER (NBC), Prison Break (FOX) , Sports Action Team (NBC) and in Feature films such as; “The Weatherman” with Nicholas Cage, ”Someone to Eat Cheese With” with Jeff Garland, “Standing in the Shadows of Motown” and “Osso Bucco” with Mike Starr. His most recent series includes "Empire" which is currently Airing on Fox Wednesday's at 8pm central, and "Review" on Comedy Central starring Andy Daly.
