They say that diamonds are a girls best friend, however in this case I am sure that Stella would think differently.  Major and Raven happen to be her best friends.  The furry, loveable cold nosed black labs that alert her when her blood sugars are getting too high or on their way down, too low.

Today I am joined in conversation by Frank Wisneski the Dad, or rather, Father of Stella to talk about Major and Raven her other D.A.D's.

We will talk about the process of training a Diabetic Alert Dog, how they alert the family to a high or low and how Type 1 Diabetes has brought about a new normal for his family.
