LifeLegacy Foundation is a non-profit research tissue organization that is accredited by the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB). LifeLegacy Foundation provides families an opportunity to make a contribution to humankind that may allow them to feel a sense of purpose emerge from their loss.
The team from LifeLegacy Foundation will talk about how they can help families deal with their loss through anatomical donation and how this can help to benefit others by contributing to the development of life saving drugs, creation of new surgical implant devices and education of the next generation of healthcare professionals.
