Scott was diagnosed in 1980 with Type 1 Diabetes and began blogging in 2004 as one of the first diabetes bloggers. Scott has become an advocate for the diabetes community by bringing awareness to the disease through his own experience.
Scott was instrumental in organizing the Diabetes Hope Conference and is a host on DSMA radio program.
