0103 2010, Fri, June 18, Conservative Latino Talk radio hosts Syliva Spivey, Republican candidate for Texas legislative district 137. She will discuss her background, her candidacy and her plans for Texas 137 in southwest Houston. Mrs. Spivey is very concerned about her district in southwest Houston where she has lived all her life. She laments that schools are underperforming, public services have declined as has public safety. Thus, she reports, businesses are leaving the area. The incumbent, a long term Democrat, receives support from Planned parenthood and has plans to raise taxes which will only drive business and investment away.
