CYGN Radio: The Power of Music

We have more inspiration tonight from successful young artists performing music that can change the world.  Oya Thomas is a beautiful and talented singer, writer, actress and coach. In her recordings and engaging performances, she uses her voice as an instrument to weave textured stories and melodies that vibrate with the transformative power of music. Throughout her diverse career, Oya has frequently traversed genre lines to work with some of the industry’s most versatile artists and creators. Aside from being a nationally-touring solo artist and an in-demand life coach, she is the lead singer of the electronic live band Soul in the Machine.  

Raised in South central Los Angeles, Elliot Alexander Monge began to study and read percussion music in 7th grade, and soon began in an advanced concert band after teaching himself guitar. At 16 he started earning a living on the weekends as a Contract musician.  In high school he developed an interest in music production composition, and behavioral sciences. Elliott runs a production company called "Ptahgraphy Productions" and also does Film and Photography in an effort to combine all of his artistic abilities onto one platform.
