The Iranian nuclear agreement deadline between negotiators from the United States, Iran and five other nations has . Grave concerns over a preliminary accord to limit Tehran’s nuclear program have been expressed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as well as bi-partisan leadership on Capitol Hill.

Representatives from several Middle Eastern countries including Saudi Arabia have openly stated that if a nuclear agreement is signed they will pursue nuclear arms as well.

The result of such action could result in a Middle East nuclear arms race.

In addition, some opponents of the Iranian nuclear agreement have suggested that the Obama administration is pursuing a foreign policy which would make Iran a power broker in the Middle East.
