Freedom’s Gate: Enterprising women – Pamela Paquin & Susan Swift Arnall

When it comes to high fashion fur there is one woman who is creating quite a rage and setting the scene ablaze and her name is Pamela M. Paquin.  The company she founded Petite Mort has legitimized the phrase “ethical fur” and is simultaneously revolutionizing the fur industry with American road kill.  That’s correct, and what could have been merely animals who were simply the casualties of the nation’s roadways are ending up as fur accessories for wearers all over America.

Paquin has worn many hats and one of them has been as a business entrepreneur who has a penchant for fighting resource misuse as a world renowned global sustainability expert.  But her new life as a fur fashion firm president began after leaving Copenhagen, Denmark to return to America as a single mother and pursued a business dream to build a new life for her daughter and herself.

The fashion fur dream of road kill couture is also a story of a woman who struggled as millions of single mothers do, and the pathway she took that serves as an example for others.  On Standing at Freedom’s Gate join Pamela M. Paquin, President of Petite Mort,   who she uses her courage,  conviction and Native American heritage in a business that PETA should not find fault with.
