A letter to our children

In light of the recent events, is it time to sit our children down and have that conversation? Not the regular conversation about the birds and the bees but about knowing you’re surroundings and what to do in a particular situation. We owe it to our children to take them back in time and educate them on the history of the justice system and the part we play in it. We need to create a letter or set of instructions for our children to operate within this society. What would that letter look like? What are some of the things that we need to address in order to make them safe. Should this letter be addressed to just our children or do we all need to sit down and prepare?
