This week’s guests, Jennifer Farser and Charles (Chuck) Bachand will talk about why bullying is an adult issue, and it’s time to protect athletes and athletics from its harm!

Jennifer Fraser, an author and teacher, has a PhD n Comparative Literature from the University of Toronto.  Her written work ranges from academic studies to plays and novels and she has taught for over twenty years at the university, college and high-school levels.

A passionate educator, her new book Teaching Bullies: Zero Tolerance on the Court or in the Classroom explores what happens when the bully is a teacher or coach.

Charles Banhand is an Education Doctoral Student at the University of Central Florida with a research focus of youth/athlete victimization and founder of Athlete Guardian, LLC. Charles has a wife and 4 daughters and was a victim of bullying himself as a child. As part of his research on youth/athlete victimization and how bullying plays a part in the athletic world, he has developed the Athlete Guardian app - a 21st century method of reporting victimization in a confidential, electronic format.
