In this fourth episode of our series on developing individuals through collective leadership, our guest is Dr. Shelly Valdez, founder of Native Pathways, an education consultancy focused on closing the gap between mainstream institutions and Native American communities. Dr. Valdez has spent more than 20 years in the field of education and among other interests has dedicated herself to empowering Native American youth to achieve a balance between pursuing their dreams and maintaining contact with their traditional world.
