CleanFreeFun Interviews Sherrell - Teens Whats The Rush

Sherrell, a Norfolk, Va native, and resident of Atlanta, Ga for over 18 years knew that she was different when she began writing poetry as a child and illustrated pictures with the meaning of the poems.  Shortly after she began to create characters and act them out.  Incredibly gifted at improvisation, she would have ‘speeches’ that she’d perform in front of her siblings and they would either laugh hysterically or cry from the emotions within her ‘speech’. Those ‘speeches’ were soon realized to Sherrell that they were actually monologues.  She began teaching them to her peers and soon after, Sherrell held daily ‘meetings’ with the neighborhood kids and they would tell each other what they wanted to be when they grew up and they would decide how to see it through.  From those neighborhood days, Sherrell decided that she was going to be a counselor.
