FACEBOOK LIVE BIBLE STUDY: It's "Easter Week" and many will be making their annual pilgrimage to church to hear about The Cross and "Resurrection Sunday" BUT is that the Whole Story? The Most important facet is the context of Jesus going to the Cross during Passover. How important is the cross if Jesus doesn't transition to High Priest and become mediator of a New and Better Covenant? Why did the Veil in the Most Holy Place of The Temple get torn in two at the death of Christ? Why would the church continue to celebrate Easter in the form of "Resurrection" Sunday when on God's calendar there is Feast of Passover, the actual time of Jesus's crucifixion as the Passover Lamb? Since Jesus is now High Priest how does that affect the "Priesthood", the system of church leadership? TUNE IN AS WE GO IN -- Let's Break Bread

Heb 4:14
So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe.

Heb 7:11
So if the priesthood of Levi, on which the law was based, could have achieved the perfection God intended, why did God need to establish a different priesthood, with a priest in the order of Melchizedek instead of the order of Levi and Aaron?

Heb 7:12
And if the priesthood is changed, the law must also be changed to permit it.

Heb 8:6
But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises.
