LEAVING US ALONE: SINGLE BLACK WOMEN

Why does the media continue to harp on single black women as if we are some exotic species for case study? There are a number of variables of why we are single, and no, we dont owe ANYone an explanation. Stop asking us. On another note, what is the responsibility of the Body of Christ to cover us? Im not talking about the pastor. Im talking about anyone who calls themselves a Christian, whatever your marital status, what is your responsibility to single women? It's not a black thing or a woman's thing. It's a COMMUNITY thing. How do we pull our sisters up? Or once you became nonsingle you shut your house door? Hmmm...
