Evangelism is still a bit of a four-letter word in the minds of many Christians. It conjures up visions of knocking on doors, handing out leaflets, and quoting Bible verses. For over 300 years, according to some, the church has been obsessed with conversions rather than discipleship. And in case you haven't noticed, that doesn't seem to be working very well anymore.
