Peace Planet Project

Laura Merrell is the Founder and Director of the Peace Planet Project and Foundation. She has a BA in Sociology and Art and Masters Degree in Clinical Art Therapy. Her diverse background includes working as a therapist for children and teens who suffered severe trauma and abuse, and Vietnam veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Laura has traveled extensively, living in Sweden for six years where she lived in community with refugees from many different war-torn countries such as Lebanon, Iran, El Salvador, Chile to name a few.
