Join us this week as your host, Chris Black welcomes Bobby Lyle. Bobby Lyle is a jazz pianist born in Memphis Tennessee but raised Minneapolis, Minnesota. He had his first gig in 1960 with Gene and Jerry Hubbard in the Bobby Lyle Trio. He moved to Los Angeles in 1974 and went on the road with Sly and the Family Stone. He recorded his first solo recording in 1977 on Capitol Records. He has had more than 10 albums spanning from 1974 to 2006. Lyle has worked with George Benson, Jimmy Hendricks, and Wayne Henderson. He has toured with Better Midler, Al Jarreau, and Anita Baker (all as musical director). He currently lives in Houston, Texas. Dont' forget about our fashion and law segments.
