Author's Spotlight- Gabby Saturday Author Crystal Senter Brown

As you know, my name is Crystal Senter Brown and I am a Mama, wife, poet, singer, songwriter, author and sometimes maniac. I've been on stage since the age of 6, performing poems written by some of the greats including Langston Hughes. I've since shared the stage with lots of "famous" folks such as Nikki Giovanni, Yolanda Adams, Ruby Dee and Sonia Sanchez. I'm also a singer, I have THREE music cds under my belt including my most successful cd: MOJO I've written two books- Doubledutch and Gabby Saturday, illustrated by her mother Janice Treece Senter. Gabby Saturday also won the 2010 Harold Grinspoon Award! Right now I'm focusing on finishing my second book of poetry which I'm planning to call "Enormous Things." I'm also shopping a new novel I wrote late last year. And if that's not enough, I'm also working on a NEW novel, which will be a follow-up to my first one.
