Rep. Justin Chenette is serving in the Maine House of Representatives as it’s youngest official and is the youngest openly gay legislator in the country. He serves on the State & Local Government Committee, as Vice Chair of the Youth Caucus, and is the State Director for the Young Elected Officials Network.

Justin is the owner & principal consultant of Chenette Media LLC, a public relations and communications consulting agency. He also writes a bi-weekly column for the Courier, and is a member of the Biddeford-Saco Chamber of Commerce, Saco Area Historical Society, OOB 365, and the Saco Spirit Economic Restructuring Committee.

In 2012, he was elected as a National Delegate to the Democratic National Convention and interned that Fall for Republican Congresswoman, Olympia Snowe prior to her retirement.
