Lady Tara Welcomes Diana Rajchel, the former executive editor for the Pagan Newswire Collective, the network founded by Jason Pitzl-Waters of the Wild Hunt. Diana, who works as a journalist, author, blogger and general creative author is  a 3rd degree Wiccan priestess in the Shadowmoon tradition an American Eclectic Wiccan tradition.

Divorcing a Real Witch: For Pagans and the People that Used to Love Them (Paperback – May 30, 2014) addresses the painful emotional journey of divorce from a Wiccan perspective, sharing accounts cultivated from over 200 Pagans about divorces, short-term handfastings and how religious conversion affected their marriage or was fueled in the aftermath of divorce. Along with sharing her own experience, Diana Rajchel solicits the experiences and advice of other Pagans on how to handle this life passage.

Those who do know of her likely remember her from her 90s era website Medea’s Chariot or from her 10+ years of contributions to Llewellyn annuals along with occasional submissions to Circle Magazine, SageWoman, the Beltane Papers and Facing North.  Her writing style is notable among Pagan writers because it almost never begins with a description of a walk in the woods. When it does … look for the rolling head. There always seems to be a rolling head after that.
