We all live within a world governed by time. It influences just about every aspect of our lives. But what is time? Does it serve a purpose? Or is it just one of the parameters of the physical universe, like gravity, light or temperature? Well, it’s time to take a closer look at time!

Like everything in the world of perception, time wears two faces. It can represent the ultimate form of bondage as the minutes slip past—becoming hours, days, weeks and years—while we stand by powerless to stop their march, running out of time and fearing its end in death. And yet, time is also our classroom. Within its walls we learn the lessons of forgiveness and love, lessons that will finally help free us from time’s grasp and bring us home to God.
