Drew Scott was born in Lafayette, LA. He is a member of the boy band “Varsity Fanclub” with four other members known as — Bobby Edner, Jayk Purdy, Thomas Carter, and David Lei Brandt. Drew Ryann is the group’s main songwriter, having co-written the tracks “Ghost,” “Looking for Love,” and “Complicated Girl” on VFC’s debut.

.

The son of an Elvis impersonator, Drew is also a fan of the Beach Boys “for their amazing harmonies.” Drew also sang all of the songs, on the Disney channel Original movie ‘StarStruck’, apart from one song also named ‘StarStruck’, where he only sang back-up vocals to Sterling Knight.

.

Charice’s Japan debut album to be released July 7th, features duet with Drew Ryan Scott on the song “I did it for you.”

.

If you’re wondering exactly how cool Drew Ryan Scott is, the answer is this — so cool that despite being sooo busy writing songs, the cutest blond in Varsity Fanclub granted us the interview for Friday’s show (July 2nd), even though he probably would’ve rather been chillin’ with friends. So listen in as we try to persuade Drew Ryan to reveal some of Charice’s backstage, behind-the-scene secrets.
