The Catholic Revolver with Jerry - Mary DeTurris Poust

Mary DeTurris Poust is the author of "Parenting A Grieving Child", "The Complete Idiot's Guide To The Catholic Catechism", & her newest book just released this month "Walking Together: Discovering The Catholic Tradition Of Spiritual Friendship". Mary graduated from Pace University in 1984 with a BA in English. Since then she has been a reporter and editor for various publications -- many of them Catholic. Writing for the Church is not just a job but a vocation and a blessing. She has worked for the Catholic dioceses of Metuchen, NJ, and Austin, TX, as well as the Archdiocese of New York. Mary is also the former managing editor of Catholic New York newspaper. Currently she is a contributing editor for Our Sunday Visitor, a national Catholic newsweekly. Her award-winning monthly column, "Life Lines," has appeared in Catholic New York since 2001.
