We, the undersigned, respectfully call upon you to recognize the significant contributions of Mr. Eric Donaldson, O.D., an internationally renowned reggae artist, and the most celebrated Jamaican Festival winner, to our nation's cultural history and the local community of Kent Village, Bog Walk.

Born and raised in Kent Village, Mr. Donaldson has remained a steadfast and loyal member of our community, despite the worldwide recognition and fame his talent has earned him. With his choice to remain true to his roots, and his love for this little-known community, he placed Kent Village on the map.
