Anyone who has children knows the fear and dread that is carried of our children leaving the safety of our homes. No matter how old they are, they will always be our children and we will have fears for them, just as we have hopes and dreams for them. Now try to imagine for just a moment what it would be like if your child were missing, no matter the age, just for a moment try to imagine, add to that people telling you that your child had been murdered and their body disposed of. Even with trying to imagine, we can never feel what a parent feels in that situation unless we have experienced it. That is the reality for our guest this week. Her beloved son "Cort" went missing on August 16th,2012. Cort called his mom asking for a ride home that day but when she arrived to pick him up she could not find him and has not heard from him since. People have spoken to Cort's mom and told her that he was killed and disposed of on that day. Cort's loved ones want Cort home. Please help us welcome Cort's mom Sandra as we hear her story. You will find that this mother, like many is very strong and driven with the love of a mother and need to find her child. Let's get busy and help find Cort. Courtney Jones-Botta is described as 23 years old, a white male, 6'1" weighing approximately 155 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo of a cross and armor on his left shoulder. He was last seen wearing black denim jean shorts and black shoes. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cort is asked to call the Redding Police Department Investigations Division at 225-4214 or Shasta County Secret Witness at 243-2319. There is a $5,000 reward offered for information leading to the location of Cort Jones. Will you be the one to end this mother’s nightmare? Please help bring awareness, share Cort's Missing Persons poster and story.
