Maureen Brainard-Barnes was one of the victims of the Long Island Serial Killer.
According to Missy Cann, Maureens' sister, Maureen was last seen July 6, 2007. She had gone to New York City and never returned. December 2010, Barnes' skeletal remains were among four discovered along Ocean Parkway on Long Island. In all, the remains of 10 women were found in the Gilgo Beach area.Only 5 victims have been identified.
Tonight we speak with "Missy" Cann, sister of Maureen Barnes. Who was Maureen? What does it feel like to know your sister was discarded, not to be discovered for 3 1/2 years? Who is the Long Island Killer? How has he evaded the continued efforts of police to identify him?
