Co-author, Colin Andrews (Guilford, Conn.), a native of England, is the foremost researcher into the global mystery of crop circles. He and co-author Pat Delgado wrote the first book on the subject, Circular Evidence, in 1989. Over the past 25 years Andrews has traveled around the world meeting with indigenous people in a quest to understand the meaning of the mysterious symbols in the fields. He became convinced that crop circles are signs of escalating environmental challenges. As he continued to meet with elders from many continents he also tracked and correlated environmental trends and scientific developments. Through his research and firsthand experience he has developed personal connection to the prophecies of 2012 and their relationship to political, social and ecological happenings of today. His research findings speak to the period the Mayan astronomers predict.
