Dropped out of college September 1961 and joined US Air Force, spend two years in tech school, computer and aircraft control warning school. February 1964 assigned to Yoza Dake Air Station, Okinawa. September 1964 TDY to Nam, advisor to intercept control technician school 21 days. May 1965 TDY advisor to intercept control technician Nam 20 days. Discharge September 1965. Applied to VA healthcare 1996, have had good and bad care off and on for the last 20 years. One VA Center about the same as another. Have just recently learned from employees at the Columbia VA they get bonuses every year for keeping the costs down. One doctor admitted most of the bonuses go to people in admin positions. Janitors are complaining this past year their bonuses were cut from $1500 to $1000. I have done charity work and fund raisers for veterans for approximately 20 years. I feel like the best thing I can do for veterans is tell my story through music, therefore I wrote the song " Keep This Country Free".
